Mastering Your Metabolism by Jillian Michaels.
I was my city library this past weekend looking at the fitness section (to be honest i’m not sure of the real name of the area so i’m improvising haha) but i was looking through all the books and this one seemed to catch my eye. i’m really loving Jillian Michaels and her motivation so i thought i would check this book out… literally.
i’ve skimmed through it a bit and really do enjoy the things i’ve read into so far. my biggest problems are my eating habits. and i feel as though if i can eat the right foods to help it out then better for me.
this book isnt just about recipes and workouts, actually from what i’ve read there are no workouts in the book it’s solely based on educating you about the hormones in your body and how you can improve them.
i’m really excited to start reading this and further understand how my body wokrs and what it needs :)
you can find this book at your local library for free, Barnes and Nobles for about $17 and on Amazon.com for about $11.
hopefully a few of you join me in reading and learning from this book. if anyone has comments, questions or recommendations feel free to message me :)
happy reading!

Book club?

So since I’m at almost 300 followers! (ps. You all are amazing!)I know there are a few of us, fitspo /fitblr tumblrs out there who actually read into what it is that we’re doing and how to try and do it right.

I’m going to start somewhat of a book club on here. I’m going to read different weight loss books and write about them kind of review them as I read them and I would LOVE to get responses from any and all of you, followers or not.

Feel free to message me about thoughts on the book, recommendations or questions. The segment of my book club will be called “Broccoli, Books and Biceps” and I will make a tab for it once I start it properly. :)

I’m really excited about this and can’t wait to get feed back from you all :) Hope everyone is doin great sorry I’ve been MIA for a couple days but I’m back now and ready for this :D
